NEW YORK, April 2. /TASS/. American journalist Tucker Carlson said US President Donald Trump’s speech on Wednesday night discussing the Iran war heralded the end of global American empire.

"Trump’s speech last night announced the end of global American empire. There’s turbulence ahead, but long term it’s a huge win for the United States," Carlson wrote in a post on X.

Earlier, the US leader asserted that Iran’s Navy and Army have been obliterated, while the Islamic republic’s missile capabilities will soon be reduced to a minimum. He also claimed that the core objectives of the operation against Iran were now "nearing completion" as he threatened to plunge the country back to the Stone Age.
