Reconnaissance work excludes Russian UAV strikes on civilian targets — operator

The serviceman emphasized that the absence of collateral damage is a priority for Russian UAV operators

MELITOPOL, April 3. /TASS/. Thorough reconnaissance work completely excludes Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) strikes on civilian targets, a quadcopter drone crew operator with the call sign "Gera," told TASS. He emphasized that his crew has never attacked civilian targets.

"At first, before any operation, we conduct reconnaissance. We make sure the enemy is there. Then we engage them either by dropping munitions, with artillery, or using FPV drones, depending on what is required of us. We have never struck civilian targets," he said.

The serviceman emphasized that the absence of collateral damage is a priority for Russian UAV operators.
