MOSCOW, December 21. /TASS/. Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada (parliament) member Artyom Dmitruk has slammed Vladimir Zelensky’s attempt to bribe Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico as a disgrace.
"Another disgrace for the whole nation," he wrote on Telegram.
The lawmaker believes that the bribe money wasn’t meant to come from Russia’s frozen funds but Zelensky "could have brought it in a suitcase."
Fico said earlier that Zelensky had offered him 500 mln euros from Russia’s frozen assets in exchange for his support for Ukraine’s NATO membership. The Slovak premier refused. Fico has repeatedly said that he will never back Ukraine’s accession to the bloc.
