MOSCOW, November 11. /TASS/. Participants in the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum are satisfied with the strategic level of their cooperation and the progress made in executing agreements from the past two summits, according to a statement on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website.
"We note with satisfaction the strategic level of Russia-Africa cooperation and positively assess the pace of implementation of the agreements that were reached during the first (Sochi, October 23-24, 2019) and second (St. Petersburg, July 27-28, 2023) Russia-Africa summits and enshrined in their concluding documents, including the Action Plan of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum for 2023-2026," the participants said in a joint statement.
"We reaffirm our intention to continue strategic cooperation to achieve a world order that would ensure international peace and security for all, equal development opportunities for all countries, preservation of their cultural and civilizational identity regardless of differences in political, economic and social systems, geographical location, demographic, resource-based and military capabilities," the statement said.
The first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum was held from November 9-10 in the Sirius Federal Territory. The event was attended by about 1,500 delegates, including 45 ministers from African countries.
