BAKU, March 6. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin continues working in Baku as he has talks with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev planned for Wednesday.
Mishustin arrived in Baku on the previous day when he had a meeting with his Azerbaijan’s colleague Ali Asadov. During the meeting the sides expressed mutual interest in further expansion of cooperation between the countries. Mishustin stressed the importance of boosting mutual investments among other things.
The head of the Russian cabinet particularly focused on unblocking of economic and transport ties in the South Caucasus region and stated Moscow’s interest in peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
The talks were followed by the signing of a number of documents, including a roadmap on development of bilateral tourism in 2024-2026.
