Russia calls on UN experts to strictly adhere to principles of universality, impartiality and non-selectivity, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in response to the statements, made by a number of special rapporteurs to the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) regarding alleged destruction of Ukrainian cultural property during the special military operation in Ukraine.

"This kind of selectivity and bias in certain HRC special procedures paint do them no credit and only discredit them. We insistently urge UN experts to implement their mandate in a depoliticized key and to strictly adhere to principles of universality, impartiality, objectivity and non-selectivity, principles of a constructive international dialogue and cooperation," the diplomat underscored.
