According to Vladimir Rogov, Ukrainian losses are now being specified

TASS, October 19. A Ukrainian assault force consisting of at least 30 boats tried to land in the city of Energodar to seize the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, but this attempt was foiled, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the 'We Together with Russia' movement, told TASS on Wednesday.

"The landing of dozens of boats. Preliminarily, at least three dozen boats tried to land in Energodar. These were [Ukrainian] special operations forces. They train to capture critical facilities, which is what the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is. There was a battle, the attempt was foiled," he said.

According to Rogov, Ukrainian losses are now being specified.

He noted that the landing group was large. The first group, consisting of a dozen boats, left from the southern district of the Kiev-controlled Zaporozhye. "These ten landing boats were full and went straight down the Dnieper toward Vasiliyevka, Energodar and Kherson, toward the Kakhovkaya reservoir," he continued.

The first reports of the landing troops were voiced by local residents around 07:30 a.m. In addition, according to Rogov, there could have been military equipment on the boats.
