Russia’s Interior Ministry reports extremist crime rate growth

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, 134 cases were recorded during this period

MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. The extremist crime rate skyrocketed by 157.7% year-on-year in January 2023 in Russia, the Ministry of Interior said in its papers.

"In January 2023, 157 crimes of the terrorist nature were registered, which was 12.1% higher than a year earlier, and 134 extremist crimes, up 157.7% as compared to the like period of 2022," the Ministry informed.
