Turkey’s Karkamis hit by Syrian rocket fire, two dead, six wounded — authorities

It is reported that five rockets were fired from the Syrian side into the city of Karkamis

ANKARA, November 21. /TASS/. The Turkish town of Karkamis came under Syrian fire on Monday, two people were killed and six were wounded.·

According to the Haberturk TV channel, members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party and the People’s Defense Units, which are outlawed in Turkey, fired at least four rockets at the city. Some of the shells exploded in the city center.

·"Five rockets were fired from the Syrian side into the city of Karkamis. Two people were killed as a result of the attack. Six people were wounded, the condition of two of them is assessed as serious," Gaziantep Province governor Davut Gul told reporters.
