Oil production in Russia in 2025 can reach 515-520 mln tons — Novak

In 2024, oil production in Russia totaled to 516 million tons

MOSCOW, March 18. /TASS/. Oil production in Russia in 2025 is projected to be at 515-520 million tons, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.

"Around 515-520 million tons," he said, answering a question about the forecast for oil production this year.

In 2024, oil production in Russia totaled to 516 million tons.

Novak noted that compared to 2024, production may be slightly lower this year, since Russia has brought production levels in line with the OPEC+ schedule. According to him, this will be a minor deviation from last year's volumes.
