BEIRUT, November 12. /TASS/. At least three people have been killed in an Israeli attack in eastern Lebanon, Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported.

According to the agency, Israeli air force planes struck a residential building in the town of Maidoun in the Bekaa Valley. As a result, three people were killed and the building itself was destroyed. Israeli warplanes also bombed an electronics store in the southern city of Tyre and raided the towns of Shmustar in eastern Baalbek and Rumin in southern Nabatieh.

In response, Israel launched a military operation in the Gaza Strip with the aim of destroying the military and political structure of Hamas and freeing all the abductees.
