Israeli attacks claim at least 43 lives in Lebanon over day — media

BEIRUT, November 11. /TASS/. The Israeli Air Force launched massive strikes on suspected Hezbollah militant targets in northeastern Lebanon on November 10, killing at least 12 people and wounding dozens, the Elnashra news website said.

According to the portal, the casualties were reported from the towns of Bednayel, Zeghrine, Saraaine, and Shaath in the Baalbek-Hermel governorate. Another five people were killed in an Israeli attack on a village near the Syrian border. There is no information yet on whether the victims were Hezbollah members or civilians.

In the south, three paramedics were killed in a drone strike on an Islamic Relief ambulance in Aadloun.

In the morning of November 10, Israeli jets carried out an air raid on the Shiite village of Almat in the Keserwan-Jbeil province in northern Lebanon, killing 23 people from Lebanese families who had fled there from the Beqaa Valley. Children and women were among the victims.

According to the Health Ministry's Emergency Operations Center, the number of casualties from Israeli airstrikes on Lebanese cities and towns on November 9 totaled 53 people, with another 99 injured. Since the start of the military escalation in October 2023, 3,189 people have been killed and 14,078 wounded in the country due to bombing and shelling.
