WASHINGTON, March 4. /TASS/. The United States introduced sanctions against six Russian nationals working in the Russian justice system in connection with the case of publicist Vladimir Kara-Murza (recognized as a foreign agent in Russian), the press service of the US Department of the Treasury said.
In particular, sanctions were introduced against Deputy Justice Minister Oleg Sviridenko, three judges, one investigator and one expert.
In early February, the Basmanny Court of Moscow extended the arrest of Kara-Murza in the case of high treason and public dissemination of knowingly false information about Russian Armed Forces’ operations.
