BELGRADE, October 26. /TASS/. The National Assembly of Serbia (250-seat parliament) approved the new government on Wednesday by a majority vote after two days of debate.
"Of 225 voting parliamentarians, 157 people's deputies voted in favor of the proposal, 68 voted against, there were no abstentions, and 25 deputies were absent. So, 157 deputies voted in favor, which is a majority, the parliament has approved the government, congratulations," said Speaker Vladimir Orlic.
Afterwards, the new cabinet members were sworn in. The Serbian government is led by acting Prime Minister Ana Brnabic. The Cabinet also includes three deputy prime ministers: Ivica Dacic, first deputy prime minister and foreign minister, Milos Vucevic, deputy prime minister and defense minister, and Sinisa Mali, deputy prime minister and finance minister.
