TEHRAN, April 2. /TASS/. Iran received conflict settlement proposals through intermediaries containing excessively harsh and illogical demands, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said.

"The messages we received through intermediaries contain excessively harsh and illogical demands, and that is why the Iranians are treating them with particular caution," the Iranian television channel Al Alam quoted him as saying.

Baghaei once again assured that no negotiations are currently underway between Iran and the United States.
