Russia ready to consider Indonesia's possible request for oil supplies — embassy

The proposed logistics and transport route solutions can be beneficial for customers both economically and in terms of diversifying global flows, the Russian Embassy in Jakarta said

MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. Russia is ready to consider Indonesia's possible request for oil supplies, the Russian Embassy in Jakarta told TASS.

"As Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a meeting with representatives of the oil and gas industry on March 9, our country is ready to ensure stable and secure energy supplies to reliable partners from friendly countries. We are confident that the solutions we offer in logistics and transport routes can be beneficial for customers both economically and in terms of diversifying global flows," the embassy said.

"In this context, our traditional partner Indonesia is no exception. We are ready to consider relevant requests. We would like to underscore that when building long-term contractual relationships we are not guided by short-term gains or the temporary difficulties of other suppliers, but rather rely on the strategic nature of Russian-Indonesian relations," the embassy stressed.
