UAC new execs to be tasked to oust foreign rivals from Russian aviation market — deputy PM

MOSCOW, January 19. /TASS/. New executives of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will be tasked to promote the development of Russia’s civil aviation and drive foreign rivals out of this market, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said on Monday, while introducing UAC’s new President, Yury Slyusar.

“We will work on new passenger aircraft that are to come soon — not only the MS-21, but also other planes made by Tupolev, Sukhoi and others,” he said. “We must win back the market of air services from foreign aircraft builders.”
