MOSCOW, December 29. /TASS/. Extremist organizations seek to spark tensions in Russia by calling for "decolonizing" the country, Russia’s Strategy for Countering Extremism, approved by the president, points out.

"Extremist organizations seek to use ethnic and religious factors to recruit new members and fuel ethnic and religious conflicts, creating a threat to Russia's territorial integrity," the document reads. "They also seek to spark and fuel territorial disputes aimed at separating parts of Russia, and promote the idea of ‘decolonizing’ Russia," the strategy notes.
