MOSCOW, February 13. /TASS/. The eighth summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) will be held in Moscow in October 2026, Russian Deputy Energy Minister Roman Marshavin said after the 50th meeting of the GECF Executive Board.

"Our country is ready to provide for the secure and seamless organization of the summit and related events at the highest level, making it possible for participants to achieve their goals and make agreements benefiting GECF countries and the global community," the official said.

Russia successfully hosted the GECF summit in 2013, Marshavin added.
