MOSCOW, November 8. /TASS/. The Kremlin will evaluate US President-elect Donald Trump's economic measures regarding China once they are implemented, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
When asked about the potential continuation of the US-China trade war after Trump's victory in the election, Peskov replied:
"Predictions are for specialists, political scientists, economists, but we focus on concrete words and statements."
However, Peskov recalled that "there have indeed been statements in which Trump, as a candidate in the election race, spoke about his intention to take certain economic steps to protect the American economy and American companies; they were discussed."
"We will see together what steps will be taken," the Kremlin spokesman told reporters.
