Perm heat and power station fire extinguished

"The power supply to consumers has not suffered any consequences," the ministry assured

TASS, November 30. Firefighters have put out a blaze on the territory of the combined heat and power (CHP) plant number 9 in Russia’s Perm covering an area of 100 square meters, Alexander Cheremnykh, who heads the Emergency Ministry’s Crisis Management Center in the Perm Region, told reporters on Wednesday.

"At present, the fire has been extinguished covering an area of 100 square meters," he said.

The Russian Energy Ministry reported that there were no repercussions to the reliable power supply for customers.

"The power supply to consumers has not suffered any consequences," the ministry assured.
