Russia strives for peace while US fuels global conflicts, Nicaragua’s leader says

According to the statement, the US and its allies actively promote the spread of fascism in a desperate attempt to retain their global dominance, thus destabilizing the world

MEXICO CITY, November 21. /TASS/. The United States systematically seeks to provoke international conflicts, while Russia resolutely works towards achieving global peace, Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega stated.

"The United States [...] is responsible for all occupations, wars, and atomic bombings of innocent peoples," reads a joint statement by Ortega and the country’s Vice President Rosario Murillo, as quoted by the local 19Digital news outlet. "[We express] strong and unwavering solidarity with Russia, which selflessly fights against fascism and defends peace at any cost," the statement said.

According to Nicaragua’s leaders, the US and its allies actively promote the spread of fascism in a desperate attempt to retain their global dominance, thus destabilizing the world. "Denouncing cowardly bullies, oppressors, accomplices of genocide, and destroyers of peace, we fully support every action necessary to preserve life, peace, and humanity’s inalienable rights," the statement added.

Earlier, Murillo declared that the US and NATO are enemies of humanity, while Ortega described Vladimir Zelensky as "a son of Hitler" for his unprovoked war against Russia. The Nicaraguan leader also voiced confidence in Russia’s inevitable victory over fascism in Ukraine.
