In the past few days, the Moscow region has been hit by the heaviest snowfall on record. By Sunday morning, snow depth reached 43 centimeters. Russia’s State Hydrometeorology Service prolonged its high weather risks alert on February 5, saying the blizzard with snowdrifts and heavy snow accumulations on the roads would continue.
