DOHA, November 8. /TASS/. Russia and Qatar continue their consultations aimed at helping children, evacuated from the special operation zone, to reunite with their families, Russian Ambassador to Qatar Dmitry Dogadkin said.
"Consultations on the issue continue. This work is continuous, painstaking and very difficult, and Qatar is playing a key role here, assisting the family reunion effort," he said.
On September 26, nine children reunited with their relatives in Ukraine, with the assistance of Russian presidential commissioner for children's rights, Maria Lvova-Belova, and Qatar’s mediation.
All in all, during the period of the special military operation, Lvova-Belova helped 80 children from 62 families to reunite with their relatives in Ukraine and third countries. She also enabled the reunion of 13 children with eight families in Russia.
