MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will work with any US newly-elected president but the work should be reciprocal and honest, he said in an interview with the French TF1 television channel.
"Look here. We like them," Putin said, answering a question on a more preferable candidate for Moscow. "Whatever the outcome, we will be working with any US leader, whoever may take the president’s seat."
"Certainly, it would be better to work with those who is wanting to work with us," the Russian president said.
"If (Donald Trump) says ‘I’d like to work with Russia,’ it can be just welcomed. Nonetheless, the cooperation should be honest, reciprocal and joint."
Putin believes that the United States is a great country and its people "are very interesting, appealing and talented, and form a great nation."
