Russia, Iran attach much importance to cooperation in defense — Medvedev

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev highlighted to the aerospace industry, energy, artificial intelligence, and advanced technology, among other spheres of cooperation between Moscow and Tehran

TEHRAN, October 3. /TASS/. Russia and Iran are developing joint activities in defense and attach great importance to this, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev told the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) in an interview.

The politician highlighted to the aerospace industry, energy, artificial intelligence, and advanced technology, among other spheres of cooperation between Moscow and Tehran.

"We are developing joint activities in the defense field to our mutual benefit. And we attach great importance to this," he stressed.

The aforementioned spheres of cooperation are, "as they say, on the table," Medvedev boasted.
