Project 11356 ships boast advanced combat capabilities to fight above-water, surface, underwater and aerial targets while having a relatively small displacement

MOSCOW, December 9. /TASS/. The Yantar Shipyard of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) is giving the Russian and Indian Navies a lot of extra firepower with its state-of-the-art ships, the USC press service said on the occasion of the Project 11356 Tuship frigate transfer to the Indian Navy.

The Yantar Shipyard has the wherewithal to build the most advanced warships. Notably, BrahMos strike missile systems, the product of successful integration of Russia and India, were installed on the first three Project 11356 frigates," the corporation said.

Project 11356 ships are actively employed by the Indian Navy, USC said. These versatile ships boast advanced combat capabilities to fight above-water, surface, underwater and aerial targets while having a relatively small displacement. "Project 11356 exemplifies modern trends in military shipbuilding," it added.
