"We regularly receive several dozen, up to a hundred, questions and inquiries, to which we try to respond promptly," Maria Zakharova said

MOSCOW, December 25. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has announced that a total of 47 briefings on key foreign policy issues were held over the past year, during which she responded to more than 1,000 questions.

"In 2024, we held 47 briefings, five of which were on the sidelines of the World Youth Festival in Sochi, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Eastern Economic Forum, the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, and the fourth Eurasian Women’s Forum in St. Petersburg," the diplomat stated at a briefing. "Do you know how many questions were asked at these briefings? I did not believe the figure myself. Over a thousand questions were asked, and you received an answer to each one."

"We regularly receive several dozen, up to a hundred, questions and inquiries, to which we try to respond promptly. In the past year, the department prepared roughly 2,500 comments, interviews, and answers to questions, which were either published in the news or sent directly," she added.
