SOCHI, November 8. /TASS/. Moscow is in constant contact with all parties to the Middle East conflict, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the plenary session of the Valdai International Discussion Club’s annual meeting.
"We need to search for ways to find mutually acceptable solutions. The question is if there are any. Is it possible at all? I believe it is, however strange it may seem. We have our own considerations on the matter. We seek to communicate with all parties to the conflict, trying to figure out what could be acceptable for all. Basically, there could be light at the end of the tunnel. I believe this is what we all should think about at this point," Putin noted.
According to him, the process is currently moving "in the right direction."
"I believe that it’s possible, even though it may seem naive. It is still possible. We are in constant contact, literally with everyone. If not every day then every week. Let’s try to follow this path," Putin went on to say.
"We are not alone. We maintain contact with some of our, say, partners on the issue. It is a common desire, and I am honest about it: it seems that we are moving in the right direction here," the Russian president concluded.
