Kremlin to publish Putin’s address at G20 summit

"In the open part, we are expecting an introductory speech by Mister [Indian Prime Minister Narendra] Modi," Dmitry Peskov added

MOSCOW, November 22. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s address at the online summit of the "Group of Twenty" (G20) will be made public, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

According to the Kremlin official, the summit is expected to kick off at 3 p.m. Moscow time (12:00 p.m. GMT) and "Putin’s speech will be at about 3:30 p.m. [Moscow time]."

"In the public part, we are expecting an introductory speech by Mister [Indian Prime Minister Narendra] Modi. And we will also make public the address by our president," Peskov told reporters.

He reiterated that India’s presidency is ending this year, after which Brazil will take the helm.

Putin’s press secretary also reported that today, the Russian leader will hold a meeting with the government on the issues of developing waterborne traffic and "current pressing issues" will be discussed. In the evening, the Russian president has a number of private meetings planned, Peskov added.
