Ukrainian saboteurs near Bryansk show no signs of activity — eye-witnesses

No sounds of gunfire can be heard at present

MOSCOW, March 2. /TASS/. /TASS/. The Ukrainian saboteurs who infiltrated into the borderline district of the Bryansk Region show no signs of activity and may have left Russian territory, local eye-witnesses told TASS on Thursday.

"There are already none of the Ukrainian group on Russian territory and all of them have left. Possibly, the search for the remaining militants on our territory is underway," an eye-witness said.

No sounds of gunfire can be heard at present.

Another eye-witness confirmed to TASS that the medical worker from the village of Lyubechane taken hostage by the Ukrainian militants was currently at home and "everything is all right with him."

Ukrainian saboteurs infiltrated into the borderline district of the Bryansk Region on Thursday morning. Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) confirmed that an operation was underway to eliminate the border infiltrators. According to official data, one civilian was killed and another one, a boy born in 2012, was taken to the Bryansk regional hospital and his life is not endangered.
