The Chinese delegation visited the Kamaz plant

KAZAN, 13 November. / TASS/. The Chinese delegation, which arrived in Tatarstan to take part in the 2nd International Forum Rostki: Russia and China - Mutually Beneficial Cooperation, has visited the plant of Russia's largest truck manufacturer Kamaz, the Republic's Ministry of Industry and Trade announced on it's official Telegarm channel.

"The Chinese delegation visited Kamaz. <...> The guests visited PJSC Kamaz's new plant - the cabin frame plant, equipped with modern automated equipment. The group saw a demonstration of the cabin assembly line and the main assembly line at the car plant, which is Kamaz's final production facility. The visit ended with a visit to the non-profit partnership Kamaz-Autosport, where the members of the delegation got acquainted with the history and current stage of the Kamaz Master racing team", the post said.

The delegation included Liu Jun, Minister Plenipotentiary and Trade Representative of the People's Republic of China in Russia, Third Secretary of the Ministry of Trade and Economic Affairs Chen Zhen, Agricultural Affairs Advisor Feng Yong, Energy Affairs Advisor Gao Shixian and other representatives of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Russian Federation.

Head of Tatarstan's Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina told reporters that delegations attending the forum will also visit the Alabuga special economic zone, Innopolis, Technopolis Khimgrad, IT Park and other sites. According to the official, visits to such enterprises as Kamaz, Tatneft and the Helicopter Plant traditionally attract the most interest.

The International Forum Rostki: Russia and China - Mutually Beneficial Cooperation will be held in Kazan on 13-15 November. The forum's business program includes 70 sessions on trade, investment, technology, logistics, petrochemicals, agriculture, education, tourism and other topics. More than 10,000 participants are expected to attend the event, including representatives of 69 Russian regions and 26 China's administrative divisions.

The Forum will also host the Russia China Expo international exhibition and will offer an extensive cultural program to all participants.
