Lavrov says India invited Russia to invest rupees that Moscow accumulated

According to Russian Foreign Minister, ""in the current situation, many billions of rupees have accumulated, which have not yet found their application"

NEW DELHI, September 10. /TASS/. India intends to give investment opportunities for Russia's collected rupees, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference following the G20 summit.

"In the current situation, many billions of rupees have accumulated, which have not yet found their application, and our Indian friends have assured us that they will offer promising areas where they can be invested," he said.

In response to the question of whether the mutual settlement mechanism problem between Moscow and New Delhi will affect the next supply of S-400 systems, and whether India will look for other suppliers of advanced defense technologies in this regard, Lavrov stated that "all agreements, including on military-technical cooperation, remain in full force.".
