Russian pharmaceutical market may grow by 4-8% in 2023 — experts

According to DSM Group, the Russian pharmaceutical market grew by 11.9% compared to 2021 to $36.26 bln in 2022

MOSCOW, February 7. /TASS/. The Russian pharmaceutical market in 2023 may grow by 4-8% compared to 2022, CEO of DSM Group marketing agency Sergey Shulyak said on Tuesday.

"Our forecast is within 4-8%," he said.

According to his presentation, the Russian pharmaceutical market in 2023 may grow by 5.8% compared to 2022 to 2.7 trillion rubles ($37.64 bln), and in 2024 - by 5.5% compared to 2023 to 2.9 trillion rubles ($40.44 bln).

According to DSM Group, the Russian pharmaceutical market grew by 11.9% compared to 2021 to 2.6 trillion rubles ($36.26 bln) in 2022. At the same time, the public procurement market grew by 6.9% to 895.6 bln rubles ($12.49 bln), and the pharmacy market - by 15% to 1.7 trillion rubles ($23.7 bln).
