ROME, May 16. /TASS/. At least ten people were injured when a car drove into pedestrians in the center of the northern Italian city of Modena (Emilia-Romagna region), according to newspaper ll Giornale.

According to its information, the car was driven by a 31-year-old man. During the arrest, the violator tried to escape, allegedly stabbing a man who blockedg his path.

The exact number of the affected is being determined. According to Il Giornale, one of the victims lost both legs in the accident.

According to the Gazetta Di Parma newspaper, the car was a Citro·n C3.
