First batch of AK-203 rifles undergoes tests in India

DUBAI, November 14. /TASS/. The first batch of Kalashnikov AK-203 assault rifles produced by the Russian-Indian IRRPL joint venture is undergoing tests, Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Dmitry Shugayev told TASS at the Dubai Airshow.

"AK-203 are produced in India according to contractual documents, their batch production has been launched. The first batch has been produced and is currently undergoing tests," he said.

In January, Rosoboronexport said IRRPL in Korwa began the production of AK-203.
