Azovstal is a fortress within the city, Deputy Head of the People’s Militia of the DPR Eduard Basurin noted

MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. Deputy Head of the People’s Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic Eduard Basurin on Monday said that 80% of the Mariupol port had been liberated.

"Eighty percent of the port has been liberated, but there’s still resistance," he said on Rossiya-24 television, when asked about the situation in Mariupol. "The rest of them are trying to retreat to Azovstal."

"Azovstal is a fortress within the city," he went on to say, referring to a steel plant.
