SAN SEBASTIAN/Spain/, December 8. /TASS/. Russia’s FC Zenit Saint Petersburg beat Spain’s Real Sociedad 3:1 in an away game of the final Europa League group stage match on Thursday.

Zenit won 16 points in six matches securing top spot in the group L. Real Sociedad got 12 points taking the second spot.

Earlier, Moscow’s Spartak and CSKA reached the play-off after securing the third spot in the UEFA Champions League. Russia’s FC Lokomotiv Moscow defeated Czech Republic’s Fastav Zlin 2:0 on Thursday, advancing to the play-off.

The Europa League Round of 32 draw will take place at UEFA headquarters in Nyom, Switzerland on December 11.
