MOSCOW, December 17. /TASS/. Russia’s national video hosting platform Rutube sees strong potential for growth in BRICS countries, Alexander Zharov, CEO of Gazprom-Media, which owns Rutube, told TASS.
"I believe our platform has significant prospects, particularly in BRICS nations. We are actively exploring opportunities and working in this direction. We are in close dialogue with colleagues from various countries, and this issue is definitely on our agenda," Zharov said.
Rutube has already evolved into an international platform, Zharov emphasized. "Primarily, it is used in countries of the former Soviet Union and other Russian-speaking regions. There have also been notable surges in usage, such as in Indonesia. This shows that people try out the platform, find it user-friendly, and begin adopting it," he noted.
