LUGANSK, February 26. /TASS/. The Russian Armed Forces personnel are applying pressure on Ukrainian troops stationed in Krasny Liman (Ukrainian name: Liman) of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) from the north, east, and south, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.
"Regarding Krasny Liman: our troops continue to pressure the enemy from both the north and south of this settlement. Serious, concentrated, targeted strikes are also underway from the eastern part of this settlement," he said.
Marochko noted that the enemy has partially succeeded in stabilizing the situation in Krasny Liman. "They have used every possible means to stop the Ukrainian militants from fleeing their positions.
There is currently a slight buildup of forces and equipment northwest of the Dibrova settlement, and fresh forces are also being deployed near Drobyshevo and Stavki," the expert added.
Earlier, Marochko told TASS that Ukrainian troops were suffering losses and falling back near Krasny Liman due to regular Russian military strikes. He also noted that Ukrainian soldiers were fleeing their positions in the special operation zone due to a lack of food and ammunition, and ongoing attacks by Russian forces.
