Civilians being relocated to left bank of Dnieper in Kherson Region — officials

It is reported that rescuers were out there to provide routes to people accordingly

KHERSON, October 19. /TASS/. Organized efforts are currently underway to relocate people from the right bank of the Kherson Region’s Dnieper River to the left bank, officials in Alyoshki reported on Wednesday.

"Organized efforts to relocate residents to the other bank of the Dnieper are underway in Kherson. A ferry service is now available to take people from [the port of] Kherson to Alyoshki and Golaya Pristan, where a temporary accommodation point has opened," the administration said on its Telegram channel.

Municipal officials said rescuers were out there to provide routes to people accordingly.

On Tuesday, Acting Governor Vladimir Saldo said civilians living on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson Region would be relocated to the left bank amid the danger of flooding in the event that the Kiev regime’s forces attack the Kakhovka hydropower plant. The official also said that Ukraine had been amassing huge forces near Nikolayev and Krivoy Rog.
