BUDAPEST, April 11. /TASS/. Hungary has renewed the agreement on extra gas supplies with Russia, Foreign Minister Peter Szjiiarto said on Tuesday.

The parties made the agreement on additional gas deliveries to Hungary above volumes set in the long-term contract, the minister said. "Gazprom will keep this option," Szijjarto said in a video posted on Facebook [banned in Russia, due to its ownership by Meta, which has been deemed extremist in Russia - TASS].

It was also resolved during talks that Hungary will be able to get "a payment deferral above a certain limit in case of an extreme rise in prices" for gas, the minister added.
