MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. Britain is acutely aware that the deployment of NATO forces in Ukraine would be unacceptable to Russia, according to Andrey Kelin, the Russian ambassador to London, who was speaking on the Solovyov.Live TV channel.

"They are currently attempting to advance this notorious plan, which involves establishing a NATO military presence in Ukraine. However, the British fully understand the absurdity and unacceptability of this scheme for our country," Kelin stated.

Britain, as Kelin pointed out, has made significant investments in its confrontation with Russia over the past few years and continues to actively support the "Ukrainian project," which is "beginning to capsize."

"This is clearly evident here, as the project was nurtured by the British and their European allies," the ambassador added.
