Sibur eyes Southeast Asia as promising market for its petrochemicals – top manager

MOSCOW, January 30. /TASS/. Sibur sees the countries of Southeast Asia as a very promising market for its petrochemical products, the company’s executive director and member of the management board Sergey Komyshan said in an interview with TASS.

"We see great potential for demand in other markets of Southeast Asia, where we have been actively developing since mid-2021. These are markets such as Bangladesh, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Indonesia, where there are already regular deliveries, although in small volumes," he said.

Komyshan also noted that currently the main foreign market for the petrochemical company is China, which accounts for up to 80% of Sibur's total export sales in the Asia-Pacific region.
