NEW DELHI, December 26. /TASS/. Russia and India signed agreements pertaining to construction of the future power generating units of the Kudankulam nuclear power plant (NPP), India’s Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said.
"Today, we signed some important agreements pertaining to future units of the Kudankulam Nuclear Project," the Minister said.
"Russia is a special partner in a few areas," Jaishankar said, having indicated, defense, nuclear power and space sectors among the main ones. "Collaborations are done in areas of space and nuclear [energy] with countries with which you have a high degree of trust," he added.
