According to Al Mayadeen, the Israeli army is also shelling the area near the Dar es Syalam hospital in the city of Khan Yunis

RABAT, November 8. /TASS/. The Israeli army is shelling population centers and areas in the north and south of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday evening, the Al Mayadeen TV channel reports.

According to it, Israel is carrying out intensive strikes on the At-Tuffah neighborhood (east of Gaza City), located in the north of the Palestinian enclave.

In addition, the Israeli army is shelling the area near Dar Al Salam Hospital in Khan Yunis city (south of the Gaza Strip).

No casualties have been reported as of yet.

Tensions flared up again in the Middle East on October 7 when militants from Gaza Strip-based radical Palestinian group Hamas staged a surprise attack on Israeli territory from Gaza. Hamas described its attack as a response to the aggressive actions of Israeli authorities against the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem’s Old City. Israel announced a total blockade of the Gaza Strip and has been delivering airstrikes on Gaza as well as some districts in Lebanon and Syria. Clashes are also taking place in the West Bank.
