Gaza Strip needs 500 trucks with relief aid every day – WHO

According to data from major international organizations, there is a shortage of medicines and drinking water in the enclave

RABAT, November 8. /TASS/. The Gaza Strip needs 500 trucks with humanitarian aid a day, a representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) told the Al Jazeera television channel.

"The Gaza Strip need 500 trucks with humanitarian cargoes every day to relieve people’s sufferings," he said.

According to the largest international structures, the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, which has been in blockade and coming under Israel’s strikes for a month, is catastrophic. The enclave’s authorities accuse Israel of deliberately dooming Gaza’s population to hunger. Apart from that, there is an acute shortage of drinking water, fuel, and medicine in the Gaza Strip.
