Strikes on Jabalia camp may constitute war crime – UN OHCHR

Al Jazeera previously reported that at least 20 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli air strike on a refugee camp

GENEVA, November 1. /TASS/. The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has not ruled out that the Israeli strikes on the Jabalia refugee camp in the Gaza Strip may be defined as a war crime.

"Given the high number of civilian casualties and the scale of destruction following Israeli airstrikes on Jabalia refugee camp, we have serious concerns that these are disproportionate attacks that could amount to war crimes," the OHCHR wrote on its X page (formerly known as Twitter).

Earlier, the Al Jazeera television channel reported that at least 20 Palestinians were killed in the Israeli air strike on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
