Roscosmos’ projects to take space exploration ‘beyond the horizons of any fantasy’ — CEO

On April 12, "The Challenge" - the first movie filmed aboard the International Space Station - premieres at the State Kremlin Palace

MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. Roscomos’s current projects will make it possible to take space exploration "beyond the horizons of any fantasy," the state corporation’s CEO Yuri Borisov said Wednesday.

"Today, we are already working on projects that will allow us to advance the exploration of space and its opportunities even further, beyond the horizons of any fantasy," Borisov said ahead of the premiere of "The Challenge" movie Wednesday.

"There is still a lot of work ahead, but I know that, with you, the Russian space [industry] will always be at its highest orbit," Borisov said.

On April 12, "The Challenge" - the first movie filmed aboard the International Space Station - premieres at the State Kremlin Palace. In order to film the movie, cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, actress Yulia Peresild and the movie’s director Klim Shipenko departed to the ISS aboard the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft on October 5, 2021. The filming also involved cosmonauts Oleg Novitsky and Pyotr Dubrov. On October 17, 2021, Novitsky, Peresild and Shipenko returned to Earth aboard the Soyuz MS-18 spacecraft. Shkaplerov and Dubrov returned from space on March 30.
