NEW YORK, March 14. /TASS/. Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff is currently in Moscow and bringing things back for the US president to make decisions on what to do next, US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz told Fox News in an interview.
"I've spoken to my counterpart, Special Envoy Witkoff. [He] is out there [in Moscow] and bringing things back for us to evaluate and for President Trump to make decisions on next steps," Waltz said.
Witkoff, who took part in the February 18 talks with senior Russian officials in Riyadh, arrived in Moscow on Thursday. Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov, a member of the Russian delegation at last month’s negotiations, announced that Witkoff would be invited for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 13 when the latter is ready.
